Producing Precision Blackbodies for over 40 years

The Thermo Gauge dual cavity Blackbody has been in production for over 40 years. Over that time the Blackbody has seen many changes, mostly in pyrometer and control system technology. Starting with pyrometers that required the operator to manually insert apertures into the end of the pyrometer to enable the system to measure higher temperatures and analog controls that used look up tables to set the desired temperature.  Thermo Gauge now uses a touch screen user interface and PLC  controls to greatly enhance the operator experience. 

Thermo Gauge Blackbodies are built to last.  Many of the Blackbody systems built are still in use today and every unit ever built is supported with either original parts or upgraded to use new parts.
